Giving a key to your housekeeper? Use these 3 tips to keep your home secure!

Our customers love that they can give us a key and we take it from there! We take your home's security very seriously, here are a few of the ways we do just that!

Here are 3 tips to make sure your house cleaner is keeping your home secure.

1. Separate work orders from keys - The first and most obvious step is to make sure keys are never stored with work orders. Our Customer's work orders are stored electronically and only printed on the day of your cleaning and keys are locked in a key safe.

2.  Keep your keys untraceable - Even if your keys and work orders are separate some companies may still label them with your name. One glance in the white pages will tell you how secure that is! The best way to keep your keys untraceable is to use a numbered key ring that only your housekeeper knows corresponds to your home.

3. A trustworthy housekeeper - None of this matters if your housekeeper is untrustworthy. Insist on only hiring companies that have thoroughly checked employee's character references and performed background checks.

Any bad guy that finds a key from Blue Hat Cleaning won't even know where to begin, and you can sleep soundly knowing your home is safe.
